After completing the interest form, send a short video so we can make thoughtful ensemble placement decisions.
Video checklist
- Begin by stating your name, age range or class year, instrument(s), and intended ensemble(s).
- Play a comfortable two-octave chromatic scale, or your comfortable full-range equivalent if your instrument has a different practical range.
- Play a short song or musical selection of your choice.
- Record from the side or at a slight angle so your playing position is visible.
- A phone recording is fine; aim for approximately 2–3 minutes.
How to share it
Use the submission link provided in your invitation or thank-you email. If the file is too large to attach, send a viewable link from Google Drive, an Unlisted YouTube video, OneDrive, Dropbox, or iCloud. Make sure the link permissions allow the director to view it.
If you have difficulty recording, uploading, or sharing your video, reply to the invitation email and let us know.
